Jonathon Renwick

BSW, RSW, M. Ed. (Psych)

Jonathon is a mental health therapist with over 15 years of experience working in the Regina area. He graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2008 and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology in 2020. He is certified and trained in EMDR, IFS, mindful, cognitive, behavioural, and acceptance therapies and is experiences working with youth and adults. He offers unique skill sets in therapy and helps individuals understand psychological, behavioural, and biological processes then works to explore and change the root sources of their mental health challenges.

Joelle Renwick
B. A. (PSYCH), CNHC, CCH, RMT

Joelle is a health practitioner with over 15 years working in the areas of physical and mental health. Her career began as a personal trainer in 2011 with a focus on training women. In 2015, she graduated from the Western College of Remedial Massage to incorporate into her work.

 

Since then, she has received additional certification in nutrition & health coaching and clinical hypnosis.

 

With her deepening interest in the relationship between mental and physical health, she graduated from Athabasca University in 2025 with her Bachelor in Psychology with plans to complete her Masters in Counselling in the next few years. The basis of her work is to help others reconnect with themselves and their bodies to create healthy lifestyles.

Joelle currently offers nutrition and lifestyle coaching to help get your health on the right track. Options include monthly coaching, exercise programs, or 1:1 coaching sessions for weight loss, body image, and general wellness.

 

She also offers hypnotherapy for relief from anxiety, stress, or phobias, and massage Therapy: for relief from tension and stress

Carissa Leifson
RMT

Carissa aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for her clients and to build authentic relationships with them. She also believes in supporting mental health through physical well-being.

 

Massage has a powerful effect on your body and nervous system, which can lead to better sleep, energy levels, concentration, and relaxation, as well as a reduction in pain. For clients who book regularly, massage can effectively help to manage anxiety, improve emotional resilience, and enhance general well-being.

 

Carissa believes every massage should be both therapeutic and relaxing; it should address any pain and tension you may be experiencing and you should leave your treatment feeling calmer and revived. Her treatment style is intentional and intuitive, her goal is to ensure that you are in touch with your body and how it is all connected.

Mallery Agar
MSW, RSW

With over 14 years of dedicated experience in healthcare, mental health, and addictions, Mallery is a compassionate and skilled healthcare provider specializing in supporting adults and families.

 

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Justice and Social Work and a Master's degree in Social Work, making her well-equipped to handle a range of issues, like anxiety, depression, grief, and addiction. Mallery's expertise covers various areas, including domestic and interpersonal violence, mental health issues, brain injury (TBI and ABI), and addictions and substance use, including recovery.

 

Her extensive background in emergency crisis intervention and working with public safety personnel - including police, fire, EMS, and communications workers - highlights her deep understanding of the challenges faces by first responder, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). She also provides support to the spouses, significant others, and adult children of first responders and public safety personnel.

 

Mallery practices from a trauma-informed lens, integrating anti-oppressive, strengths-based, and narrative approaches. Using effective methods, like CBT, ACT, and EMDR, Mallery helps clients build strength and resilience.

Melanie Vegter

Melanie specializes in providing empathetic support to individuals navigating the complexities of divorce, deparation, and co-parenting. Whether you prefer in-person or virtual sessions, Melanie offers flexible options to meet your needs, no matter your location or circumstance.

 

Graduating in 2023 with Bachelor's in Social work, Melanie's unique blend of personal insight and professional expertise makes her an invaluable resource for those facing relationship transitions. Having navigated her own divorce and custody challenges, she brings a deep empathy and practical approach to her practice. Melanie's background as an addictions counsellor also enriches her ability to offer compassionate, insightful, and actionable support.

Shalissa Elder

Birth, Postpartum, Lactation

Shalissa Elder is a Birth, Postpartum, and Lactation Support Doula who has been supporting families since 2016, when she trained through DONA International. Since then, she has supported mothers through pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum, providing both doula support and birth photography.

 

Shalissa also creates placenta prints, available to both her birth clients and anyone wanting to honour their birth experience.

 

Her work is rooted in the belief that touch, human-to-human connection and our biological nature are essential to healing. Alongside her postpartum doula support, she provides postpartum relaxation massage and is certified in Infant Massage.

 

Shalissa also offers a breastfeeding and birth preparation guide, with in-person classes available seasonally in rural communities as a traveling educator. Her work often weaves in breastfeeding and motherhood photography, which can be added onto many of her services.

 

Her approach is centred on protecting and supporting the mother-baby dyad.
